Transfer Students

Tiffin University Prague welcomes students from accredited two and four–year colleges and universities. Students who have completed coursework at other universities can submit their transcripts for the possible transfer of their credits.

Transfer candidates in good academic standing with fewer than 24 credits must submit, in addition to official college transcripts, their official high school transcripts and proof of English Proficiency. Potential transfer students should contact the admissions office for a personal consultation

Students who have attended an institution of higher education after graduating from secondary school for any period of time may apply to transfer their coursework to the Full-time Bachelor’s program at Tiffin University Prague.

The following is a list of steps you must complete in order to transfer these credits:

Step 1.

Complete and submit the Application Form for Undergraduate Full-time Study together with copies of the materials required for admission and your unofficial transcripts to the Admission Office.

Step 2.

Contact World Education Services (WES – to get your transcripts officially evaluated.

Step 3.

Be sure to tell the evaluation service to send one copy of their evaluation to:

Step 4.  

After we receive your unofficial transcripts, the Admissions Committee at Tiffin University Prague will evaluate transfer credits and you will receive an unofficial evaluation about the estimated number of credits that may be transferred. We then send a recommendation to the Tiffin University Ohio Admissions Committee.

Step 5.

The Tiffin University Ohio Admissions Committee will evaluate the official transcripts and transfer credits after the transfer applicants have been admitted, have confirmed their intention to enroll and an official transcript evaluation from WES has been received.

Please note: Transfer students must submit all of their official transcripts before the end of their first semester.  These transcripts become a permanent part of the student’s file.
